Hello World!

So last spring when I was signing up for classes, I decided to try out a course on digital photography. I have always liked taking pictures, but it was always just for fun. The only cameras I had ever used were point-and-shoots. I myself had one, but it broke. I wasn't too disappointed though; it was a piece of crap. Anyway, that's when I decided to buy my first DSLR, and I chose the Sony a330.

I started my photography class in the fall. I will admit it started out rough, as I really don’t consider myself an artistic person, but once I got the hang of the techniques I realized that I could in fact take some pretty swell pictures.

Whatever. Enough with words, here's one of the pictures I took for class.

LD sippin' some mocha.

I don't remember what the assignment was, but my professor liked it. More pics coming soon!

  1. I'm looking forward to your future posts, Paul! Also, you should consider getting a flickr account =P Goodluck with your new SLR

  2. Thanks man! In class last semester the prof had us make a flickr account, but I don't seem to remember what my login info was! Classic, right? I'm going to try to get it hooked up in the next few days.
